The microphones are active as required for these specific purposes, and any audio captured is not stored or retained on the device. If Sonos Ace is connected to a mobile device and a third-party voice assistant is activated, voice audio is transmitted from the headset to the mobile device for processing by the third-party service, in accordance with the terms and privacy policies of the voice assistant provider. Sonos does not store or retain any audio data during this process. The system ensures that user data is processed in accordance with applicable privacy laws and Sonos' data privacy practices.
